BEHAVIOURAL PROFILING - DISCUS

Discus is a professional DISC profiling package. It provides all the tools you need to construct, analyse and understand DISC profiles, together with a suite of useful additional utilities. Discus provides everything you need for a full programme of professional DISC profiling.

Discus' profiling facilities are flexible enough to meet all business needs. The software provides three distinct questionnaires to meet specific requirements, including the unique 'remote' profiling facility. The system will accept a candidate's responses directly into a PC, or from a completed paper questionnaire form.

Discus analyses the results of profile questionnaires instantly and automatically, completely eliminating the possibility of errors or bias. Once the questionnaire has been interpreted, the software provides an array of analysis tools designed to provide specific, definitive information on any element of a person's expected behaviour.

As well as the traditional DISC profile graphs, Discus will also analyse an individual's traits, their stress levels, and the adaptations they are making in their behaviour to meet the needs of their working situation. Discus can also provide a detailed textual interpretation for any combination of DISC results, giving both a broad overview of a person's behavioural trends, but also examining specific performance-related areas.

Discus also understands the needs of individual roles and positions within the organisation, and can apply this information to individual profiles. This means that the software can instantly report on which roles a candidate is, suitable for, and even point out particular areas of strength for those roles.

Discus profiles are completely portable. Profile information can be transported from one Discus installation to another, and the new version 2.5 also provides e-mail features, and can export files in different document formats.

Discus also comes complete with a sophisticated Job Profiler suite. This element of the system is used to create and fine-tune DISC descriptions of roles of jobs within an organisation, against which candidate profiles can be 'matched'.

Given a definition of a role, the Job Profiler can provide a textual report on the behavioural needs of that role, and can even search for well suited candidates whose profiles are held on file.
