Most recruiters will have some idea of how they want to grow relationships within an account – sadly, in many cases these remain ideas rather than a reality.  The fast paced nature of recruitment often means that something more pressing or urgent crops up and these ideas fall by the wayside.  Find time to think about your Objectives, Strategy and Tactics for a select few Accounts that you have scope to develop and put them in writing.  The process of writing them down forces better quality thinking in the first instance and in the longer term is often a catalyst for action itself.
