You’ll quickly recognise that some objections will crop up more frequently than others and it won’t take you long to think about a suitable initial response, questions to ask and a strong rebuttal.  However, just the act of stopping and thinking at this point is enough to transmit a lack of confidence and uncertainty to the other party so try and practice responses until they become instinctive and are ‘in the muscle’.  Writing down responses to common objections (try developing the objection handling responses that accompany this module so that they sound more natural and tailored) and learning them will help to develop this instinct
