If you want more commitment from clients when you’re taking bookings – ask for it! If every recruiter that they give the job to ends the call by saying, “Leave it with me and I’ll see what I can do” it really doesn’t inspire any confidence at all. If you close for a working start, interview slots, exclusivity or any of the other forms of commitment outlined in the module, you give yourself a better chance of filling the role and also breed confidence in the client leaving them less likely to want to go elsewhere.
