Practice, practice, practice!

If you are still grappling with the basic elements of the Job Brief, or thinking about how to phrase a question, then you will not be able to free your mind up to consider more advanced concepts. So you need to practice the basic mechanisms of taking a Job Brief until you can do them without thought, make them instinctive. By doing so, you will liberate your consciousness to a more advanced plain.

So keep practicing, keep on rehearsing. In your head – on the tube, in the bath, in the car. Practice with your colleagues, your family and friends. Practice on the dog, cat or budgie!

But please remember:

‘Amateurs practice ‘till they get it right –
- but professionals practice until they can’t get it wrong’
