Having worked closely with recruitment and training gurus Brian Tracy and Tony Byrne in our formative years, we have evolved and developed training programmes and material which combine tried and tested principles with the ever changing landscape of the recruitment industry.
Through our recruitment academy we have selected, placed and trained the next generation of recruitment professionals who will add value where it matters most – the bottom line.
MEET THE TEAM
Samantha got into direct selling at an early age and quickly proved to be both a successful salesperson and marketeer and, subsequently an inspirational leader. As one of the founders of Enabling Change, she took on the many responsibilities of running the business – including developing accounts, introducing additional services along with managing the business in general.
Samantha is a keen walker, gardener and cyclist who likes to spend time with her two dogs, Poppy and Tricki. She particularly enjoys holidaying on the narrowboats of the Brecon & Monmouth Canal.
Dave has worked in the recruitment industry for almost two decades. Starting his career as a consultant with Reed, he went on to be a member of their internal training team that designed, developed and delivered the Certificate in Professional Recruitment Services – the UK’s first academically accredited recruitment programme. Dave later became Dean and Director of Reed Business School before joining Enabling Change in 2005 as a core member of the leadership and training team.
Dave is a big sports fan, supporting Cardiff City and Wales (in any sport!). He’s also a keen distance runner (although not as keen as he used to be).
Geoff developed a highly successful career in sales and sales management working within the financial services sector. Heavily involved in building large and successful teams of sales professionals, Geoff was particularly talented at recruiting high quality talent and then training, coaching and nurturing these individuals to maximise performance. Geoff was one of the original founders of Enabling Change and was central to the development of the business as a whole and of the training solutions that the company offers. He continues to deliver regular workshops to recruitment professionals.
As a family man, Geoff likes to spend his spare time with his daughter and grandchildren. He is also a keen traveller and is well known expert in the world of Koi carp.
Jim’s early career was in direct selling with Encyclopaedia Britannica. Having developed a successful team of sales people, he then started training recruitment professional alongside Tony Byrne in the mid 1990’s and co-founded Enabling Change. Jim is now a highly respected trainer within the recruitment sector and is central in the continued evolution of all the different training solutions that Enabling Change provide.
Jim follows most sports – but cricket and rugby in particular – and is regularly dragged down the gym. He also likes spending time walking his two Cavalier King Charles spaniels and driving his ‘mid-life crisis’ Jaguar F-Type.
Nicole has worked for Enabling Change since February 2000. Starting her career as a sales consultant with Encyclopaedia Britannica at the age of 19 she forged a successful career resulting in managing a highly successful and award winning Regional Team. Nicole then joined The Automobile Association and ran their sales team for two years before joining Enabling Change where she has worked with many recruitment firms assisting them with their growth and development plans.
In her spare time Nicole leads an active life with three dogs, this involves countless walks in the country-side, obedience and agility training four times a week with most weekends spent competing. Her two daughters still enjoy a camping holiday with their mother and the dogs!
Catherine began her career at Enabling Change in 2006 where she started in a Sales Support position and during her early years she wore many hats. Having done so, she then took the official responsibility of Operations Manager dealing with all elements of Enabling Changes accounts, administration, marketing, technical support and HR. Catherine also completed her CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management in 2013.
Catherine spends most of her spare time supporting her two sons who play football for Chelsea Academy. She enjoys wining and dining and to work off this hobby she attends the occasional park run and loves dog walks with her Chocolate Labrador and crazy Cocker Spaniel.
Alex began her career at Enabling Change in February 2013. She has been a dedicated member of the Recruitment Academy from the start and helped it evolve over the past 4 years going from strength to strength. She began as a resourcer and has progressed to a consultant working closely with not only regular clients but frequently engaging with new businesses who want to use The Recruitment Academy.
Alex is extremely sociable and likes nothing more than spending time with friends and family enjoying good food and wine! She likes working in recruitment due to the variety of the role and the opportunity to make money which is usually spent on her home.
Tammy started her career with Enabling Change in May 2016 as a resourcer. Previously she worked within the health care sector coordinating care teams throughout the Suffolk area and enjoyed practicing beauty therapy as a home business. Initially focusing on candidate attraction, Tammy was keen to learn new skills and has progressed into building relationships with candidates and clients throughout our process.
Tammy is a big fan of the outdoors, enjoying hikes and fair weather walking in the country-side. She also enjoys being a member of her local gym.
Gillian started her career with Enabling Change 2014 as an Administrator, working alongside all of the staff providing administrative support. Her many responsibilities include sourcing new clients, managing suppliers and processing psychometric reports.
Outside of work, Gillian enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her children.
